President Tarek Shaarawy

Tarek M. Shaarawy is the Head of the Glaucoma unit, and the Glaucoma surgery research group at the University of Geneva Hospitals. Shaarawy is also active in a number of NGOs dealing with global prevention of blindness.

Vice President Mark Sherwood

Dr. Sherwood, a professor of ophthalmology and Director of the Center for Vision Research, has been with the University of Florida since 1986. Dr. Sherwood has received the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Honor Award.

Kieth Barton

Keith Barton is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Glaucoma Specialist at Moorfields Eye Hospital and Honorary Reader in the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology. His areas of interest are the surgical management of glaucoma, surgical devices and secondary glaucomas.

William E Sponsel

Dr. William Sponsel is a world renowned Glaucoma specialist. He established his private practice in November 2007 after 14 years at the University Of Texas Health Science Center and Audie L. Murphy Veteran’s Administration Hospital.

Tanuj Dada

Tanuj Dada is Secretary General of the International Society of Glaucoma Surgery, Chair of the Associate Advisory Board & Global Education Committee of the World Glaucoma Association and is a Directors Board member of the Asia Pacific Glaucoma Society.

Paul Chew

A/Prof Chew is a Senior Consultant at the Department of Ophthalmology, NUH and Associate Professor at Ophthalmology Department, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.

Michael Coote

Associate Professor Michael Coote is a senior glaucoma consultant at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital Melbourne and was the previous Clinical Director of Ophthalmology.

Ali Hafez

Dr Hafez is a highly respected glaucoma surgeon from the University of Montreal

The editorial board is the executive board of the International Society of Glaucoma Surgery (ISGS). Responsible for screening all videos on the ISeeGS site, the Board also curates our content to ensure that videos remain of the highest standard and are published only by reputable sources.
